I’m currently reading “The Ascension Mysteries” by David Wilcock, and near the beginning of the book there’s a cool quote. This nugget of wisdom came from the author’s mother, Marta Waterman, who believed in the importance of being a good person and being kind to others. She said:Β
“Whether we realize it or not, each of us is here to build houses, one brick at a time. Every time we think a loving thought, or do a good thing for someone, we add another brick to the wall. Every time we have a hateful thought, or hurt someone, we take a brick away.”
This is a great way to think about it! We do so many things and think so many thoughts in a day that it’s hard to believe any of them have much importance. But just like each small brick is vitally important to the strength and stability of a house, each tiny thought, word, and action can add up to big shifts in our mentality and our lives.
We should make sure that we’re adding more bricks to the wall, instead of taking them away. If we can change our mindset to kindness and positivity, think of the houses we can build! π
